A few weeks ago I went to Spain with my parents, and it was actually my first time in the country. Okay, it wasn’t, as we went on a one day trip a couple of years ago while in Portugal. Anyway, it was my first real time in Spain, and I was actually really surprised about how beautiful it was. My fathers job happens to have an apartment in the south of Spain, in a not-so-big-city called Estepona. As we drove in to the city I couldn’t but think that this is how I imagine Spanish cities – grey and tired. I know, I know, I shouldn’t prejudge, but I guess I did. But – when I got to see the old city the next morning, I was absolutely thrilled. It had these all-pastell streets, each decorated in matching colors. There were paintings and small pots to hang plants in, and of course dozens of flowers. We spent two weeks in Spain, and we got to see a lot of the surrounding areas as well. I also took a small trip by myself during the weekend – to a neighboring country. I love travelling, especially by myself, so this was just perfect for me. I’ll tell you more about it later! I thouhgt I had taken sooo many photos while in Spain, but while looking through my photos, I realize that I’ve taken only a hundred or something – just a few of them are okay-looking. I’m sorry! Love Hilde
